Summary
This returning edition of NXT for Season 7 would be a huge show for NXT and would kick off with a huge bang as NSW Owner Me McMundo would address the NXT audience and announce that due to the disappearance of NXT GM Million Dollar Jason a new GM will need to be appointed and that person shall be revealed next week. The show would see many great matches that would see Naythan Golden score the big win over Danny Richardson, War Party win their big tag team debut over the NXT Tag Team Champions Jacob Anderson and Nick Miller, Calli Wright win a triple threat against Blake Cruz and Brian Diaz, Amber Black win a gruelling contest against Kim Payne, Travis Sole get a controversial win over North American Champion Jay Jones after using what looked to be brass knuckles, Sarah Logan winning her debut match against also debuting Barbie Kendall and Flapjack Carter getting a brutal win over Jack Sanders. Finally came the main event and it would see NXT Champion Kevin Owens taking on John Aaron in non title action and it would be a back and forth contest between the two that would see Kevin Owens emerge victorious and show why he is NXT Champion.
