This week's edition of NSW Raw would kick off with Joe Disney as he revealed that he was the acting General Manager of Raw and he would announce that at Backlash Morgan Wolf would have a shot at the NSW Championship and to prevent outside interference it would be Hell in a Cell. Many great matches would fill the card that would see Matt Rhoads get the victory over Mohammed Jay Ali, John Woods pick up the win over Joseph The The Beast by Disqualification only to be attacked by Joseph The The Beast and Travis Kether, Sawyer Tawfik winning his debut match against Roman Reigns, Broken Littlewood defeating Calli Wright yet again thanks to help by The Mundo, Erek picking up a much needed over Tre Donovan, Adam Rage picking up a big win over Justin Sane and Oliver Bisping picking up the win over Damien Valentine. Finally came the main event and it would be tag team action as Jay Mercer and Morgan Wolf would team to take on United States Champion Cory Sabin and NSW Champion Adrian Kincade and it would be the team of Mercer and Wolf who would win getting them momentum towards their matches at Backlash.
